The legal occupational title "Patentanwalt" is protected in Austria.
Patent Attorney Dipl.-Ing. DDr. Alexander Mikšovsky and Patentanwalt Mikšovsky KG are members of the Austrian Chamber of Patent Attorneys [ www.oepak.at ] and, with reference to activities before the European Patent Office, the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi) [ www.patentepi.com ].

The professional legal regulations are laid down in the Law of Patent Attorneys regulations the profession of a Patent Attorney, the guidelines for the practice of the profession of a Patent Attorney and, with reference to activities before the European Patent Office, the Code of Conduct of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office.
